In a poignant statement, Sule Suebebe reflected, “I was living recklessly, indulging in minor pursuits and earning money frequently. Without a mentor or guidance from relatives, I perceived myself as invincible.”
He continued, “I ask for forgiveness from anyone I have wronged, knowingly or unknowingly. I would prostrate while apologizing, but my health prevents me. Especially to the women I have offended, I am deeply sorry for any harm caused.”
Illness and Death
Suebebe’s health had been declining for some time, and he was under medical care at a hospital in Ibadan, Oyo State. Sadly, he passed away on the morning of June 12, 2024, after a long battle with illness. His death was confirmed by his close friend, Pastor Ademola Amusan, who had been helping with his care.
Amusan announced the news on Facebook, stating, “It’s a sorrowful day. Baba Suebebe has passed away at the hospital this morning. May his soul rest in peace.”
